A Personal Passion
I entered the helping profession as a result of overcoming my own issues. I know exactly what it’s like to be stuck and see no way out.
From the age of 14, I suffered from crippling social phobia, bulimia, self-harm, agoraphobia, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. By the age of 18, I was a full-blown alcoholic and was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (which I now understand was unrecognised C-PTSD).
I spent my early 20s searching for solutions to my issues. It was painful, frustrating, and time-consuming. I didn’t even want to live much of the time.
When I was 24, I was lucky enough to come across a therapy that banished my social phobia within 90 minutes! And it has never come back.
This opened the door to a field of therapies and tools that work quickly and effectively without retraumatisation. I deeply studied and/or qualified in everything that personally helped me completely transform my own life because I never wanted anyone to be as stuck and hopeless as I was.
As my therapy practice expanded, I continued studying related fields so I could offer the best service to anyone no matter what their issues.
Other Stuff
I have written several books, one of which won a ‘Best Book of All Time’ BookAuthority Award.
I have had academic papers published by Oxford University Press.
I have been quoted and featured in media across the world.

I have run highly-rated personal and professional development workshops for businesses and other organisations, including the NHS. My very popular “No More Stress” workshop has received an 100% employee recommendation rating.
Prior to setting up a private practice, I worked in Social Care, coaching recovering addicts and prison-leavers to attain their personal and professional goals.
